Trafford Leisure is on the lookout for a Customer Service Advisor to join our team!
Location: Altrincham Golf Course, Timperley, WA15 7LP
Rate: £12.70 per hour (2026 pay review pending)
Contract Type: Temporary, 6-month contract
Hours: 36.25 hours per week (Full-time)

This is a pivotal point in our evolution as Trafford Council’s multi-million-pound leisure investment programme is rolled out. This ambitious programme will see the portfolio of leisure centres transformed into fit-for-purpose, accessible, inspiring spaces under a new brand of “move” for future generations to come.
The Role:
This is a temporary, 6 month role designed to support our Hub team during a period of high demand.
Here in the Hub, we’re focused on giving great customer service to everyone we speak to. Everything we do is about making our customers’ journey as smooth and easy as possible.
We support customers through phone calls, emails and online chat, always asking ourselves after each conversation: How can we make this even better next time?
We’re the central team that supports all our Trafford Leisure facilities, including our sites in Altrincham, Sale, Stretford and Urmston.
In this role of Customer Service Advisor, you will be responsible for:
• Answer calls, give helpful information, make bookings, deal with membership questions, and solve customer problems.
• Work with other colleagues and departments to find answers and solve customer queries.
• Record customer feedback and share insights with management
• Handle payments and follow the correct money-handling processes.
• Review customer data to help improve our online and self‑service experience.
To be successful in this role of Customer Service Advisor, you must have:
• Excellent customer service skills over inbound, outbound, and online communication.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive customer information
• A proactive approach to identifying ways we can improve.
Hours:
Our Hub operates six days per week and runs on a four‑week rota with a variety of shift patterns. As part of the team, you’ll be required to work every other Saturday. Further details about the rota can be provided on request.
