Crynodeb
Ground Testing Ltd, are looking to recruit a Site Technician to carry out geotechnical site testing, validation sampling, and related activities on sites located predominantly in the southern part of the county. The successful candidate will need to be happy to spend the majority of their time on site, and travelling to, from or between sites around the South of England. Early starts and/or overnight stays away may be required. Ideally you will have previous site experience and good communication skills. A full UK driving licence is essential and towing experience is advantageous.
Site Testing Technician – Bristol / Wiltshire / Somerset / Gloucestershire
Duties will include:
In-situ testing
National travel
Soil validation sampling
Maintaining testing and sampling equipment
Assisting with related site operations including collections and deliveries
Liaising with Clients, other contractors and members of the public on site.
Organising and carrying out their work in an efficient and timely manner
Desired experience:
Previous experience of site work, and/or work in a technical field an advantage
Be enthusiastic and hard-working
Be resilient to various weather conditions
Have physical strength and stamina
Good written and communication skills
Basic level of communication
A minimum of GCSE grade C in Maths, English and Science
Prepared to work as part of a team or as an individual
Full, clean driving licence essential, towing experience an advantage
Salary and benefits:
£25,000 - £30,000 depending on experience + overtime
