• Working across Stanton Primary School and Exning Primary School
• 37hours per week,52weeks per year-Permanent
• Shift work and occasional evenings and weekends
• Salary: £25,185 - £25,989 per annum (Dependent on qualifications and experience)
We are seeking a reliable and proactive Caretaker to join our Estates Team to contribute to the daily operations that keep our school’s environment safe, clean, and welcoming for students, staff, and visitors. From maintaining site security and carrying out general maintenance to providing event support and ensuring facilities are operational and tidy, you will be central to our commitment to high service standards.
You will be the first point of contact for estate-related issues, managing tasks through our help desk system and liaising with contractors to resolve problems swiftly. The role involves a range of responsibilities including minor repairs, porterage, decorating, cleaning, and proactive upkeep of the school buildings and grounds. Flexibility is essential, as you’ll be expected to support shift rotations, weekend cover, and school events.
We’re looking for someone with sound practical skills, strong communication abilities, and a keen sense of responsibility. As you will be required to work across both schools, a driving licence and access to a vehicle would be highly desired. A trade qualification or First Aid training would be advantageous.
