• One Sixth Form College, Ipswich
• 15 hours per week (2 days a week – Flexible days and times), 52 weeks per year - Permanent
• Salary: £26,703 - £29,058 per annum (Dependent on qualifications and experience)
• Actual Salary: £10,825 - £11,780 per annum
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Careers Information Advisor to provide impartial, high-quality information, advice and guidance (IAG) to students, helping them to make informed, realistic decisions about their education, training and future careers. Your work will directly contribute to the delivery of a progressive and effective careers service aligned to the Gatsby Benchmarks, with a particular focus on 1:1 guidance, group sessions, employability skills, and progression support.
You will develop and deliver engaging resources and activities for students of all ages maintain digital and physical careers platforms, and support curriculum teams and local schools with tailored careers education. You will also play an active role in open events, workshops, employer engagement initiatives and community outreach. Working across the Eastern Education Group, you will help ensure our learners receive outstanding support in navigating their career pathways.
Candidates will be given the opportunity to work towards a Level 6 qualification in Career Guidance and Development if they wish. If you are passionate about empowering students and want to be part of a forward-thinking, student-focused organisation, we love to hear from you.
