Bank Female SupportWorker

Pay rate: £13.50 - £14.00 per hour - Weekly or Monthly pay available
Shift pattern:
Days 7.30am - 17:00pm & Waking Nights 21:00pm - 7:00am

We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join a care team supporting a young person with Autism, mental health needs, and narcolepsy with cataplexy within her family home in Birmingham.

Support will include:

  • Providing2:1 support at all times
  • Supporting withdaily living activities and routines
  • Encouragingindependence with household tasks(such as washing up and tidying)
  • Supporting during home tutoring sessions
  • Monitoringfood intake and providing prompts to eat safely
  • Supporting withpersonal care and continence needs
  • Observing and supporting withmedication administration
  • Providingemotional support and reassurance

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking Support Workers who:

  • Have experience supporting individuals withAutism
  • Have experience supporting individuals withmental health needs
  • Arepatient, calm and understanding
  • Are confident supportingyoung people with complex behaviours
  • Can encourageindependence while maintaining a safe environment
  • Are comfortable working in afamily home setting
