We are looking for warm, compassionate and enthusiastic Support Workers to join a dedicated care team in St Austell. This is a genuinely rewarding opportunity to support a young woman to live life fully and on her own terms out in the community, enjoying the Cornish coast, and embracing each day with independence and determination.

Our client is 22, tetraplegic and autistic, and she lives life to the full. She has worked incredibly hard in her recovery and rehabilitation following her injuries, and shes not slowing down. She has a brilliant sense of humour, knows exactly how she likes things done, and has a packed life that she needs the right people to help her live.

Her main interests include dog walking, hand cycling and adapted CrossFit. She enjoys getting out and about including trips to the beautician and doing all the things a young woman wants to do. She is also actively working on her ongoing rehabilitation and recovery.

Our client communicates verbally and as with many autistic people, she has her own communication style and preferences, and you will be fully supported to understand and connect with her from day one. The right candidate will champion her independence, encourage her rehab goals, and be genuinely excited to be part of her journey.
