Full-Time Cover Teacher - SEND School - WolverhamptonFull-Time | Long-Term | Start ASAPA large, well‑established special educational needs school in Wolverhampton is looking for a dedicated Full‑Time Cover Teacher to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone experienced in supporting pupils with complex needs who is confident covering all subjects across the school as required.⭐ About the Setting (Wolverhampton, West Midlands)This specialist school supports children and young people with a wide range of needs, including:
- Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)
- Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
- Autism (ASC)
- Complex medical needs
- Communication and interaction needs
The school caters for pupils from primary age through to post‑16, offering a highly nurturing and structured environment with small class sizes and excellent support from experienced teaching assistants. The Role - Full-Time Cover TeacherYou will provide cover across all subjects and age groups, working closely with a stable and supportive staff team. Planning is provided for you, and classrooms are well staffed with skilled TAs.You will:
- Deliver pre‑planned lessons confidently across different subjects
- Adapt your teaching to meet a range of complex SEND needs
- Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists and TAs
- Maintain a calm, patient and consistent classroom presence
Suitable for QTS/QTLS teachers, ECTs, and Unqualified Teachers/Instructors with strong SEND or care-based experience. What They're Looking ForThe school is seeking someone who is:
