Advanced Pharmacist- Speciality Medicine-Band 8A - 37.5 hours- Permanent

We are looking for an enthusiastic pharmacist to join our friendly team as our new Advanced Pharmacist for Speciality Medicine. With a new Chief Pharmacist, an ambitious 2 year departmental strategy and our Pharmacy robot newly replaced; we are in a prime position to support you to become an outstanding Advanced Pharmacist for Speciality Medicine.

We would fully support you to undertake relevant post graduate training and also leadership training.

Participation in the extended hours, weekend, Bank Holiday and on-call service will be required.

To work within the clinical pharmacy team and lead the provision of a dedicated, patient focused, clinical pharmacy service for the Specialty Medicine element of the Division of Medicine and Urgent Care at Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust (T&G ICFT).



Work with the Advanced Clinical Pharmacist – General Medicine to ensure robust medicines management governance throughout the Division of Medicine.



To lead the Satellite Pharmacy Service Provision throughout the Trust.



To be the primary link between the Pharmacy Service and the T&G ICFT bed management team.



Produce reports and present clinical and financial information to the relevant specialty meetings and overarching Divisional meetings.
