Crynodeb
The successful candidate will be experienced in performing unsupervised EEGs and NCS on patients with a wide range of medical disorders including neurological and/or psychiatric, and should be comfortable in writing technical reports in a timely manner. Southampton's Neurophysiology service see many paediatric patients and so a child friendly approach is essential.The candidate should be able to work collaboratively with other health professionals, ensuring that the needs of the service are met and they should be able to offer advice to trainees as well as health care professionals external to the department. The applicant should be a qualified Clinical Physiologist/Clinical Scientist with suitable experience in the Neurophysiology field. They should demonstrate broad experience and familiarity in clinical EEG, EPs and NCS and although intra operative monitoring experience is not essential for this role, it would be desirable.
