Location – Group Role travelling between Selby, Wakefield, and Castleford Colleges.
Salary: £43,533 to £46,182 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week
We have an exciting opportunity for a highly enthusiastic advanced teaching practitioner to join our team in the role of a Quality Lead (all provisions). We are looking for someone who is passionate about teaching, learning and assessment; digital developments in education; and pedagogical research who can support and coach others to develop and hone their practice.
Working within a team of Quality and Innovation Leads, you will join a driven and dedicated Quality department who are forward thinking in their approach to quality improvement with lots of exciting projects and developments taking shape.
The successful candidate will work across our three College sites, driving consistent high-quality progress and outcomes for all students. There is an expectation that the successful candidate will continue to teach as part of this role to maintain their own professional practice (up to 0.2 teaching commitment over time)
You will be required to:
Support teams to plan and deliver outstanding student experiences with a focus on teaching, learning and assessment.
Conduct a range of review activities including Learning Walks, Lesson Visits and Curriculum Check-in Weeks to support continuous improvement.
Conduct ongoing analysis of data and follow-up to review activities.
Mentor and coach teachers and assessors to support continuous improvement.
As a Quality & Innovation Lead, you should be confident, well organised and proactive with good digital skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
You will have:
GCSE A* - C / 9 - 4 in English and Maths or equivalent
A degree in a relevant discipline
PGCE or other full recognised teaching qualification or equivalent
A track record of successful teaching, learning and assessment
