Role overview
Help turn community kindness into meaningful change
At CCP, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to have a better tomorrow. For over 35 years we have worked alongside people
and communities to prevent the causes, and reduce the impact of homelessness, family breakdown and social exclusion.
Through our fundraising and appeals programme, we are able to extend that support even further - reaching people beyond the limits
of traditional funding and enhancing the support we provide everyday.
We are now looking for an experienced Fundraiser to join our Communications team and help grow the support that makes this work
possible.
This is a hands-on role focused on bringing fundraising to life - coordinating campaigns, supporting events, engaging donors and
helping build a strong and sustainable community of supports around CCP.
What You'll Do
Working closely with the Communications Director, you will play an important role in delivering CCP's fundraising activity and
ensuring supporters have a positive and meaningful experience when they choose to support our work.
You will help organise fundraising campaigns and events - including our famous Hamper Scamper and Big Sleep Out appeals - build
relationships with donors, corporate clients and community fundraisers, and ensure that everyone who supports CCP understands the
difference their contribution makes.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, coordinating projects and seeing tangible results from
their work.
About You
We are looking for someone who is organised, enthusiastic and enjoys working with people.
You will already have experience in fundraising, events, or community or corporate engagement, ideally involving large-scale
campaigns or projects.
You will enjoy building relationships with supports, partners and colleagues, and be confident coordinating activity across teams
to ensure fundraising initiatives run smoothly.
You will also:
* Be a strong communicator who can positively represent CCP to supports and partners
* Enjoy turning ideas into well-organised campaigns, events and activities
* Be proactive and organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once
* Take pride in delivering a great experience for supporters and donors
* Be motivated by CCP's mission and the difference fundraising can make to people's lives
Come and join a Charity focused on people rather than profit.
