We are pleased to announce that an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 8a Children and Young People (CYP) Community Nursing Services Lead
within the Children’s Physical Health Directorate in Coventry.
This is a valuable opportunity for an experienced and knowledgeable Children’s Nurse leader to join an innovative and forward-thinking service, further develop your expertise, and make a meaningful difference to children and families where it matters most.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Children’s Nurse with a strong background in community nursing and a proven track record of providing clinical and operational leadership across children’s services. The successful candidate will join our dedicated and supportive team within Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust, contributing to the continued development and excellence of our services.
• Service Management: Develop, deliver, and improve services, ensuring quality, performance, and budget efficiency.
• Collaboration & Leadership: Work with stakeholders, communicate key updates, and foster staff leadership.
• Decision-Making & Analysis: Monitor performance, budgets, and risks, implementing improvements as needed.
• Planning & Innovation: Develop business plans, promote best practices, and drive service improvements.
• Patient & Client Care: Ensure safe, accessible services, particularly for vulnerable groups.
• Policy & Compliance: Engage stakeholders, manage complaints, and enforce clinical and child protection policies.
• Financial & Resource Oversight: Manage budgets, procurement, and resource allocation.
• Staff Management: Lead recruitment, training, and workforce planning while overseeing HR policies.
• Performance & Reporting: Track KPIs, provide reports, and ensure service quality.
• Research & Development: Support audits, research, and continuous service evaluation.
