We are looking for a talented and passionate Pastry Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled pastry professional who takes pride in creating high-quality desserts, pastries, and baked goods while maintaining excellent kitchen standards.
The successful candidate will support the pastry section in delivering creative and consistent desserts while ensuring high standards of food preparation, presentation, and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and present a range of high-quality desserts, pastries, and baked goods.
Manage and maintain the pastry section during service.
Ensure all dishes are prepared consistently and to the highest standards.
Assist with the development of new dessert menus and seasonal offerings.
Maintain food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards at all times.
Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients when required.
Minimise food waste and ensure proper storage of all products.
Support junior kitchen staff and contribute to a positive kitchen environment.
Skills & Experience
Previous experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie or strong experience as a Demi Chef de Partie (Pastry).
Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, baking, and dessert preparation.
Passion for creativity and attention to detail in presentation.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Good organisational and time management skills.
Food hygiene certification is desirable.
