Role: Assistant Buyer
Salary: £30,000/£35,000
Location: West Yorkshire
The Assistant Buyer will provide a vital link between site teams, suppliers and technical team. You'll be working in a stand alone role with the support of senior personnel within the business.
The role will involve attending site visits, supplier meetings, and proactively sourcing new local suppliers.
Ideally you will have a meticulous approach, creating and updating assessments, reports, and tender schedules. You'll have excellent communication and negotiation skills and you will be required to manage a variety of relationships throughout.
Knowledge of Excel essential with the willingness to undertake training on other internal systems used.
A good understanding of Construction and it's processes is essential.
