Connect Appointments have a unique opportunity for a Team Leader to join our prestigious client within their busy contract packing and production facility in East Kilbride. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a role within a fast-paced, high-performing environment, with clear path for progression.
What's on offer?
- A full-time position
- £13.21 per hour
- Initially working 6am to 6:30pm, 3 days a week (this may transition to five working days of 8 hours)
- Join an established and growing production business
Working as a Team Leader, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting morning check-ins, ensuring staff are signed in correctly
- Carrying out inductions and training
- Preparing and presenting timesheets
- Basic operating of manufacturing equipment
- Loading and unloading materials onto lines/machinery
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working area
- Communicating clearly with the Production Manager and other teams
To be successful in this Team Leader position, you will have the following skills, traits and experience:
- Previous experience within production, contract packing, manufacturing or FMCG
- The desire to progress
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with a hands-on working approach
- Able to balance multiple responsibilities
- Good problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
