Contract: Fixed term - final term of the academic yearStart Date: Monday 13th April 2026End Date: Friday 17th July 2026Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)About the RoleA supportive and welcoming primary school in the DN2 area of Doncaster is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 3 Class Teacher to join their team for the final term of the school year. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who enjoys building strong relationships, delivering engaging lessons, and working as part of a collaborative Key Stage 2 team.The role covers Year 3 teaching responsibilities every Monday, Tuesday, and selected Wednesdays throughout the Summer Term.Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the Year 3 curriculum.
- Provide a calm, structured, and nurturing learning environment.
- Mark and assess pupils' work to support progress and attainment.
- Work collaboratively with the Year 3 team, support staff, and senior leaders.
- Maintain strong communication with parents and colleagues.
- Ensure continuity and consistency of learning during the fixed-term cover period.
The School Is Looking For Someone Who:
- Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
- Has experience teaching within KS2 (Year 3 experience desirable but not essential).
- Is reliable, positive, and able to integrate smoothly into an established team.
- Demonstrates strong classroom management and a warm, supportive approach.
- Can adapt teaching effectively to meet pupils' varying needs.
