Vibe Recruit is currently seeking an experienced Brake Press Operator to join a well-established manufacturing business based in South Wales. The company specialises in producing high-quality metal standing seam systems for roof and wall applications, known for their durability, sustainability, and strong customer support.
Location
- Based in Monmouth
- Flexibility to travel in line with business requirements
Working Hours
- Monday - Thursday: 7:00am - 4:00pm
- Friday: 7:00am - 12:00 noon
- 39 hours per week
Salary
- £13.50 - £15.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate brake press machines to form and bend metal components
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings and work orders
- Perform quality checks to ensure finished parts meet required specifications
- Adjust machine settings and tooling as required
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Carry out basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting
Person Specification
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Competent in using measuring tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
