Registered Nurse (RGN) – Nursing Home – £20.90 per hour – Days or Nights - £3,000 welcome bonus
Our client is looking for a committed and experienced Staff Nurse to join their day staff team in a warm and welcoming nursing home. This is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality care to older adults in a supportive and professionally rewarding environment.
As a Staff Nurse, you will play an important role in ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of residents . You’ll use your clinical expertise to assess needs, manage care plans, and provide compassionate, person-centred nursing in line with best practices.
Before You Apply
- This role requires current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (RGN).
- You must have recent experience working as a nurse in a nursing home.
- This position is NOT suitable for newly qualified nurses.

What You’ll Need
- Registered Nurse qualification with active NMC registration (RGN)
- Proven experience working in a nursing home
- Strong clinical assessment, medication management and documentation skills
- Confidence working independently and leading care staff on shift
- Experience with dementia or palliative care
What You’ll Do
- Take clinical responsibility for residents during day shifts
- Administer medication and carry out clinical assessments and care planning
- Lead and supervise care staff to ensure safe, effective care delivery
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with CQC standards
- Liaise with GPs, families and external healthcare professionals
- Respond to changes in residents’ health needs, including palliative care support
