We’re looking for a dedicated part time Youth Justice Practitioner to deliver early, targeted interventions to vulnerable children whilst supporting their families. Your work will be at the heart of an integrated approach to prevent reoffending, create sustainable change, and divert young people from the formal criminal justice system at the earliest opportunity.
As a lead practitioner you will undertake a comprehensive assessment to understand the underlying causes of behaviour with an understanding of trauma informed approaches
Liaise with statutory partners including education, health, children’s social care and probation to coordinate multi-agency responses
Create a bespoke child first plan
Deliver evidence-based interventions and programmes that make a lasting impact
Act as appropriate Adult in the Police station
