Role Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to work on high-profile commercial and residential projects, often within occupied buildings. The role involves installing, maintaining, and fault-finding electrical systems while ensuring all work complies with safety standards and regulations.
This position suits a technically strong, client-facing electrician with excellent communication skills who can work both independently and as part of a team. Reliability, flexibility, and initiative are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Install electrical systems in accordance with 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
Install and maintain lighting, small power, wiring, and containment systems
Diagnose and fault-find on existing electrical installations
Conduct site surveys independently or with clients to determine requirements
Provide survey information and technical assessments to Contracts Managers
Maintain high standards of workmanship to support repeat business
Build and maintain positive relationships with clients
Identify opportunities or issues to raise with clients and project teams
Knowledge & Experience
Electrical installation experience in commercial and/or residential environments
Working knowledge of IEE Wiring Regulations
Familiarity with lighting control systems (e.g., DALI, Exor)
Understanding of NICEIC requirements
Qualifications
Essential:
BS7671 – 18th Edition
City & Guilds Electrical Qualification
City & Guilds 2391 – Inspection & Testing
CSCS Card
Electrical Apprenticeship (preferred)
Skills & Attributes

Ability to work independently and within a small team
