The post holder will oversee the set-up, delivery and service management of the NRC Academy (NRCA) processes, manage the budget and grow business. The postholder will contribute towards the NRCA being financially sustainable within three years of operating, working closely with the NRCA Lead.
This role will also provide specialist advice and guidance on data, analysis and measurement within a wide range of domains (e.g. KPIs within the service specification, clinical quality, patient experience and wider economic benefits).
The post holder will work closely with colleagues in the NRC to populate performance slides and inform performance meetings, undertake and manage discrete projects across the full range of data collection, collation, analysis and presentation activities.
The post holder will manage the development of the NRCA and data reporting alongside the NRCA Lead, Head of operations and Director of the NRC. This will be the first national training function for rehabilitation and presents an exciting opportunity for an individual with drive and expertise in finance and business administration to develop a service from the outset.
Development of information systems to monitor performance both operationally and strategically against targets for the NRCA will be crucial.

The successful candidate will:
Support the NRC Academy Lead in the set up set-up, helping to facilitate the running of courses, promote, market and income generate etc.
Drive processes to support the Clinical Academic and NRC Director to delivery of ambitious targets to set up the NRCA to fulfil it’s national ambition.
Provide operational expertise and management support to the NRCA.
Provide strong, visible leadership within the service as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Be responsible for all bookings for courses including any venues required and payment mechanisms.
Contribute to meeting key performance indicators including course delivery, access targets and finance.
Allocate resource accordingly to achieve the training and education plan for the NRCA.
Work with universities and other external partners to administer the appropriate payment mechanism for any joint courses.

The NRC Academy Business Manager and Advanced Analyst will be crucial in the successful development and day to day running of the NRC Academy.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the NRC Academy Lead set up and develop the Academy including the online platform and booking system.
- Reporting on performance at a strategic level.
- Organising training events, coordinating financial transactions, venue, catering and participant comms.
- Contribute to KPIs including course delivery and income generation.
