Conduct initial MDT assessment alongside Physiotherapists and Psychologists, and specialist occupational therapy assessment for patients with persistent pain Provide treatment of patients with persistent pain within a biopsychosocial and goal-orientated framework, including addressing needs such as vocational rehabilitation and cognitive rehabilitation. Lead on the design, development and delivery of OT- led group interventions within the Pain Service Provide clinical mentorship/ supervision, teaching and support to other members of the multidisciplinary team and wider Locomotor service Participate in and lead on-going service development within the department and other community and acute therapy services. Take the lead and contribute to service developments in line with local, regional and national policy directives. The post holder will get the opportunity to develop their skills and expertise working alongside individuals in a geographical area that is rich in cultural diversity. The post holder will need to take into consideration highly complex socioeconomic issues impacting on individuals health and well-being.
