CAMS Fire & Security PLC has been established since 1984 certificated to NACOSS Gold approval for Security Systems and LPC LPS 1014 approval for Fire Alarm systems, both being the highest standards in the Industry. To add to our team we require Security Install Trainees who want to either start or further their careers in a life long well paid job. We require you to live within a reasonable distance from our offices in Stevenage and cover an area predominantly within a 50 mile radius of Stevenage working on a variety of premises including commercial and residential.
The main duties will include the Installation of electronic Security Systems, such as Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Access Control.
You must have a full UK driving license.

You will be shown:
• Working at heights and confined spaces

• You will implement work orders provided by the office and remain adaptable and dependable under time pressure
• You will work with an experience Fire engineer during training
• You will maintain records of works done.
• We install other systems other than Fire Alarm Systems, where there is on the job training.
• You will maintain a safe work environment at all times by following all relevant standards and procedures.
• You will update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities made available through the company and reading technical publications.
• You will be reliable, punctual and driven to succeed, a desire for learning and self-improvement
Your expected annual salary will depend on any work experience and overtime including travel. You will be offered a Company Van, protective wear, uniform and the larger tools such as drills.
In addition, 23 Days holiday + Bank Holidays.
Hours on site 08:30am - 5.00pm
