This is a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for staff, students, and visitors. You'll be part of a large, supportive team working across various areas of the site, ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are consistently met.
Main Duties
-Carry out daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitising surfaces.
-Clean and maintain restrooms, classrooms, offices, communal areas, and specialist spaces.
-Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet rolls.
-Safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
-Report any maintenance issues or hazards to the supervisor.
-Work collaboratively with team members to cover all areas efficiently.
-Follow site-specific cleaning schedules and protocols.
What We're Looking For
-Previous cleaning experience (preferred but not essential - training will be provided).
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Good attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
-Reliable, punctual, and flexible with working hours.
-Understanding of health and safety practices in a cleaning environment.
-A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a supportive team culture.

-Security Clearance is vital to be able to work on this site, Mitie will apply for this for applicant
-If clearance is not successfully obtained employment will be terminated
