Job Details:
• Pay: Competitive Basic Salary
• Hours of Work: Day Shift – 35.25 hours per week
• Week One Mon - Wed (06:05-17:50) (Working 11.75 hrs per day)
• Week Two Thu - Sat (06:05-17:50) (Working 11.75 hrs per day)
• Duration: Permanent

Job Role: The Manufacturing Technician will be responsible for setting and operating advanced CNC turn/mill machining centres within a precision engineering environment. The Manufacturing Technician will primarily work with Mazak Integrex machines, producing high-quality components from stainless steels and heat resistant super alloys to extremely fine tolerances. Duties for the Manufacturing Technician include setting multi-axis CNC machinery, interpreting technical drawings, performing quality checks using hard gauging and CMM equipment, and ensuring all components meet strict engineering standards.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
• Previous experience working as a Manufacturing Technician or in a similar precision engineering role
• Experience of twin turret machining
• Strong knowledge of Mazatrol Smooth controls
• Previous experience working with Mazak CNC machinery
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications
• NVQ / City & Guilds qualification or equivalent in a relevant mechanical engineering discipline, preferably within manufacturing engineering
• Previous experience working with a Mazak Integrex machine
• Ability to programme CNC machines
Additional Information
