Role Overview
The Executive Café & Event Manager is responsible for overseeing the full operational management of the café while ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service. The role also encompasses the planning, coordination, and execution of events hosted within the venue.

This position requires a dynamic and experienced leader with a strong background in hospitality, excellent organisational skills, and a keen eye for detail. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality guest experiences while ensuring the efficient and compliant operation of the café and event facilities.

The Executive Café & Event Manager will manage the day-to-day operations of the catering facility, ensuring that both front-of-house and back-of-house functions operate efficiently. Responsibilities include stock management and ordering, kitchen safety oversight, staff scheduling, and ensuring that all staff processes comply with relevant legislation and company policies relating to hygiene, health, and safety.

Key Responsibilities
-Lead, train, and motivate café staff to maintain consistently high standards of service, professionalism, and customer care.

-Oversee daily café operations, ensuring efficient service delivery and operational excellence.

-Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure compliance with all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.

-Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to develop and implement innovative menus and seasonal offerings.

-Plan, coordinate, and oversee events from initial enquiry through to successful delivery and post-event review.

-Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and local businesses to maximise event bookings and opportunities.

-Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and operational reporting.

-Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and solution-focused manner.

-Ensure staffing rotas are effectively managed to meet operational requirements.

Person Specification

-Proven experience in café, hospitality, or food service management.

-Experience in event planning, coordination, or venue-based events.

-Strong leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills.

-Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends when required for events.

-Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities.

-A proactive and customer-focused approach to hospitality and service delivery.
