Veterinary Surgeon Job in Warwickshire – Supportive Team, Advanced Caseload, No OOH

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a long-established, progressive small animal practice in Warwickshire. This is an ideal role for a vet seeking genuine clinical support, a varied and challenging caseload, and an excellent work-life balance with no out-of-hours commitments.

This well-respected primary care practice has been delivering trusted veterinary care for over 100 years, with modern, well-equipped sites in Tamworth and Atherstone. Located just 15 minutes from Birmingham and within easy reach of beautiful countryside and Birmingham Airport, the practice offers both professional opportunity and lifestyle flexibility.

The caseload is predominantly cats and dogs, with occasional small furries and even the odd chicken, ensuring no two days are the same.

The Team
The successful candidate will join a collaborative team of 9 Veterinary Surgeons, including:
• A Certificate Holder in Ophthalmology
• Vets currently studying towards certificates in Surgery, ECC and Acupuncture

The practice actively invests in professional development and strongly supports CPD, certificate study and long-term career progression.

Daily duties include a balanced mix of consultations, surgery, advanced procedures and ECC cases. Case continuity is prioritised, with regular vet meetings and open clinical discussion to ensure every team member feels supported.

• RCVS registered (or eligible) Veterinary Surgeon
• Strong communicator with a team-focused approach
• Surgical bias preferred
• Enjoys a balanced mix of consults and surgery
• Committed to delivering high clinical standards and exceptional client care
• Passionate about providing individualised, high-quality patient care
