We are seeking a motivated Secondary English Teacher who combines excellent behaviour management skills with creativity and a supportive approach. You will collaborate with a forward-thinking team to deliver an innovative curriculum, uphold high expectations, and nurture a lifelong love of learning among all pupils.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver engaging, high-quality English lessons aligned with the Curriculum for Wales framework.
• Plan and assess effectively to address the diverse needs of learners, including those with additional learning requirements.
• Maintain excellent classroom and behaviour management to foster a positive, inclusive learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and refine the curriculum.
• Uphold high standards and expectations for all pupils, promoting engagement and achievement.
Candidate Requirements
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• PGCE or PCET qualifications will also be considered.
• Demonstrable expertise in classroom and behaviour management.
• Familiarity with the Curriculum for Wales and its requirements.
• Strong understanding of planning and assessment processes.
• The ability to teach confidently across a range of subjects and disciplines is desirable.
