1:1 Support Workers
You will be supporting pupils with a variety of additional needs including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Social Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH), and Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD) within primary schools, secondary schools, and specialist provisions.
Key Responsibilities
Provide tailored support to pupils with SEN in class and in small groups
Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and MSP teams
Support behaviour management and promote a positive learning environment
Implement EHCP targets and personalised learning strategies
Provide consistent, patient, and structured support to help students succeed
Experience & Qualifications Required
Previous experience working with children or young people with Special Educational Needs
Relevant qualification such as QTS (for teachers), Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or equivalent SEN experience
Strong communication and behaviour management skills
Understanding of safeguarding and inclusive education
A patient, supportive, and proactive approach
