Established in 2008, Structures Group’s parent company, WJ Structures Ltd, took the restoration and refurbishment sector by storm and quickly positioned itself as a market leader. We offer a cost-effective masonry remedial and heritage restoration service, suitable for a wide variety of applications and requirements in the Construction Industry.
Job Role/Main Responsibilities:
· Working hours: Monday to Friday (7.30am – 4.00pm) Weekend work available
· Heritage stone masonry and/or bricklaying and other forms of site-based work if required
· Support and work collaboratively with the commercial team
· Working alongside other operatives and a site manager
· The ideal candidate will be pro-active and willing to learn and adapt to new and unique methods of working whilst upholding the company’s traditional core values and practices
Essential:
· NVQ Level 2 (or similar with proven experience in heritage bricklaying)
· CSCS Card
· Industry Experience - structural openings and heritage brickwork/bespoke brickwork
· Full, UK Driving Licence (preferably clean, no more than six points)
Desirable (Training Will Be Provided):
· Asbestos Awareness
· Manual Handling
· Working at Height
· Abrasive Wheels
· IPAF
· PASMA
