Are you passionate about combining operational expertise with digital transformation? Ready to play a key role in modernising a vital business function? We’re looking for a Senior Fleet Support Associate to help lead the evolution of our Fleet operations — driving automation, enhancing data insights, and supporting sustainable fleet initiatives.
About the Role
As a senior member of our Fleet team, you will take the lead on transforming manual processes into smart, automated, data-driven systems. You’ll work closely with colleagues across Operations, Procurement, Finance, HR, IT, and Sustainability to ensure our fleet is safe, compliant, efficient, and future‑ready.
This is a hands‑on, forward‑thinking role where you’ll support strategic projects, improve digital capability, and act as a trusted partner to managers across the organisation.
What You’ll Be Doing
Digital Transformation & Automation
- Lead the adoption of digital tools and automated workflows.
- Build dashboards and reporting tools for real-time insight.
- Integrate data sources and champion emerging technologies like AI and telematics.
- Support the team in using systems effectively and maintaining data quality.
Operational Management & Compliance
- Manage key fleet activities including servicing, MOTs, insurance, and driver compliance.
- Monitor KPIs and identify risks, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Oversee telematics and driver behaviour systems.
- Maintain accurate, audit-ready documentation across the fleet.
Financial & Supplier Management
- Review invoices, contracts and POs, supporting cost accuracy and forecasting.
- Help evaluate supplier performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain digital cost records to support budgeting and sustainability reporting.
Sustainability & Innovation
- Support EV rollouts, charging infrastructure, and eco‑driving initiatives.
- Analyse emissions data and help drive low‑carbon transport solutions.
- Work with ESG teams to embed sustainable fleet practices.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Act as a subject matter expert across systems, compliance, and data.
- Build productive relationships with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Deputise for the Fleet Manager when required.
- Contribute to cross‑departmental digital transformation projects.
What We’re Looking For
Experience & Knowledge
- Previous experience in a Fleet role – essential
- Strong understanding of fleet operations, systems and compliance
- Experience in digital transformation, automation or process improvement
- Project management experience
- Use of AI for operational efficiency is highly desirable
Skills & Abilities
- Strong communicator who can work confidently at all levels
- Analytical thinker with excellent problem‑solving skills
- Quick learner who takes ownership and gets things done
- Able to build relationships quickly and work collaboratively
- Proactive, curious, and able to see the bigger picture
Qualifications
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel (Intermediate/Expert) – essential
- ITIL Foundation – desirable
Why Join Us?
You’ll have the opportunity to significantly influence how our Fleet function evolves — driving modernisation, delivering meaningful operational improvements, and contributing to our sustainability goals. This is your chance to make a genuine impact in a forward-thinking, collaborative environment.
