What skills and experience we're looking for
Clyst Vale prides itself on its Geography offer from year 7 to 11 and starting in September we a looking to appoint an exciting and innovative Teacher of Geography. This is a permanent, full-time position. The successful candidate will be able to teach across key KS3 & KS4 and is offered on the main teacher's pay scale MPS 1-6.
We are looking for:
- An outstanding Geography Teacher with excellent subject knowledge;
- A practitioner who is keen to enthuse students using a variety of approaches;
- Experience of teaching Geography at GCSE is desirable;
- A willingness to contribute to the enrichment activities of the Department;
We encourage applications from ECT’s, and we can offer an excellent induction programme, in partnership with the South West Institute for Teaching, as well as a robust and impactful CPD offer for teachers at all stages of their career.
