What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Pastoral Support Mentor to make a real difference in the lives of our students. Working closely with our Pastoral Support Manager and Designated Teacher for LAC, you will play a vital role in supporting students who face barriers to learning.
This is a rewarding opportunity to provide targeted pastoral, emotional, and mentoring support, helping to boost students’ engagement, wellbeing, behaviour, and attendance. You’ll work one-to-one and in small groups, build strong relationships with carers and external agencies, and play an active role in coordinating and reviewing Personal Education Plans (PEPs) to ensure every child receives the support they need to succeed.
For further details regarding this post, please see the attached Applicant Information Pack. Opportunities to visit the school, and find out more about the role, are available on Wednesday 11th March at 11.20am and Thursday 12th March at 3.45pm. Please contact Nicola Kelleher at n.kelleher@littleover.derby.sch.uk to book your visit.

If you feel you could contribute to this vision, we would be very pleased to receive your application.
