We are seeking a passionate and nurturing EYFS Class Teacher to join our vibrant and inclusive primary school in Chingford, Waltham Forest from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic practitioner who understands the importance of high-quality early education and the impact it has on children’s lifelong learning.
About the role:
You will lead a Reception class within our Early Years setting, creating a stimulating, language-rich environment where children feel safe, confident and excited to learn. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development, and will be committed to ensuring all pupils make excellent progress from their starting points.

Has a secure understanding of the EYFS statutory framework

Delivers engaging, play-based learning opportunities both indoors and outdoors

Has high expectations for behaviour and achievement

Is skilled in early phonics and early mathematics teaching

Uses assessment effectively to inform planning and next steps

Builds strong partnerships with parents and carers

•
Is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
