Contract: Full Time Salary: £55,000 Per Annum Shift Type: Days Contracted hours: Full TimeCollingwood Care Home is a newly commissioned specialist care home in Clapham, London supporting adults with complex nursing needs, dementia and mental health conditions. The home offers 80 en suite bedrooms across two floors and provides complex nursing care, specialist dementia care and residential mental health support within a safe and clinically led environment.
As part of a brand new service, this is a unique opportunity to help establish strong clinical leadership, shape standards of care and build a supportive environment for residents living with complex health needs.
Clinical Deputy Manager (RGN/RMN)
- £55,000 per annum
- Full time contract
- Pension scheme, Paid DBS, Uniform provided
- Onsite parking
- 5.6 weeks annual leave based on a full time contract
The Role
As Clinical Deputy Manager, you will support the Home Manager in leading the clinical team and ensuring the safe and effective delivery of high quality care across this newly commissioned specialist service. You will play a key role in establishing strong clinical standards and supporting the development of a confident and skilled multidisciplinary team.
You will oversee clinical care delivery across the home, ensuring care plans are accurate, person centred and reflective of residents’ complex nursing needs, dementia care requirements and mental health support needs. You will support medication management, clinical assessments and care reviews while maintaining high standards of safety, infection control and clinical governance.
Working closely with nurses, care staff and external healthcare professionals, you will provide leadership, mentorship and guidance to ensure consistent, high quality care is delivered at all times. You will also support audits, compliance processes and quality improvement initiatives to ensure the home operates in line with regulatory standards.
As part of a newly commissioned service, you will help build a positive team culture and contribute to shaping a clinically led environment where residents receive specialist support and staff feel supported in delivering excellent care.
What We Are Looking For
- Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with a valid NMC PIN
- Previous experience in a senior nursing or clinical leadership role
- Experience supporting individuals with complex nursing needs, dementia or mental health conditions
- Strong understanding of clinical governance and regulatory standards
- Confidence leading multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A compassionate, professional and clinically focused approach
