About the Role
We have a dedicated and well-trained team providing an excellent standard of person-centred care for our residents. As a Head of Residential Care, joining our large, diverse team who are proud of the difference we make to our residents you will:
· Work closely with the General Manager to ensure the Home is run in an efficient and caring manner, promoting a happy and secure environment for residents.
· Oversee staff working practices and standards, identifying and reporting any training needs.
· Formulate and issue duty rotas for the team ensuring the appropriate number and skill mix of employees are on duty.
· Be responsible for dispensing medication and maintaining necessary records
You will support the General Manager in all aspects of management in the home, deputising when necessary. You will act as a role model to and supervise members of the team to ensure the individual personal care needs of residents are delivered with dignity and promote independence.
Prior experience is desirable but not needed, as we will give you all the training you need to be successful in this role.
