Crynodeb
The post holder will act as a highly specialist, autonomous practitioner leading the delivery of dietetic services across the Trusts Front Door areas, including ED, AMU, SAU, SDEC and Frailty services, providing expert nutritional assessment and intervention for patients with complex needs, including clinically assisted nutrition. The role includes managing a complex clinical caseload, contributing to service development, audit and quality improvement activity, and supporting the operational planning of the Front Door and Medical Dietetic service. As a specialist dietitian, the post holder will provide leadership, supervision and education to dietitians, dietetic assistants and student dietitians, while working collaboratively with multidisciplinary colleagues including medical, nursing, therapy, pharmacy, catering and frailty teams to support safe, effective and coordinated patient care, and ensure continuity of dietetic input across services.
