Salary: Paid to scale (MPS/UPS)
Contract: Full-time, Long-term (via Hays Education)

This is an exceptional opportunity to work with children who need a teacher who believes in them - someone patient, creative, resilient, and fully committed to inclusive education.

⭐ Your Role: Shape Progress Every DayI

n this rewarding SEN teaching role, you will:

  • Deliver high‑quality, personalised learning for pupils with a range of SEN needs.
  • Use strong EYFS curriculum knowledge to plan developmentally appropriate, engaging lessons.
  • Create a calm, structured, autism‑supportive environment, drawing on approaches such as the SPELL framework.
  • Adapt the curriculum to meet individual needs, interests and EHCP targets.
  • Work closely with a skilled multi‑disciplinary team - therapists, psychologists, SEN specialists and support staff.
  • Build strong, supportive relationships with families and external professionals.
  • Lead your classroom with confidence, taking responsibility for planning, behaviour, staff management and organisation.

What We're Looking For
You'll be a great fit if you have:

  • QTS - absolutely essential (ECTs with strong SEN experience will be considered)
  • Strong knowledge of EYFS and early childhood development
  • SEN expertise and a solid understanding of how additional needs impact learning
  • Experience - or a real passion - for supporting autistic pupils
  • A calm, reflective and solution‑focused approach
  • Confident classroom management and excellent organisational skills
  • The ability to collaborate within a supportive team of experienced professionals
  • Strong IT skills for assessment, planning and reporting
