The school are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Reception teacher to join them after Easter for the duration of the summer term. This is a full‑time role with full teaching responsibilities, although part‑time may be considered for the right candidate.
Your new role
- Planning and delivering engaging, play‑based learning experiences that support early development across all EYFS areas.
- Creating a warm, inclusive classroom environment where children feel safe, confident and eager to explore.
- Working closely with teaching assistants and EYFS colleagues to ensure consistency and high‑quality provision.
- Observing, assessing and recording children's progress, using this information to shape next steps in learning.
- Contributing positively to the wider school community and modelling the school's values in daily practice.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised qualification.
- Experience teaching within the EYFS, ideally in a Reception setting.
- Strong understanding of early childhood development and the EYFS framework.
- Warm, nurturing approach with the ability to build trusting relationships with young learners.
- Confident communication skills and a collaborative working style.
