The Role
You will inspire and influence SNG leaders and colleagues within property services towards Everyone Safe and Well (ESaW) vision and strategy. Generate, promote and help embed a strong safety culture, providing professional, unbiased practical, accurate and clear advice to the business. The role will guide and support stakeholders in interpreting and applying relevant HSE regulatory and organisational requirements as necessary.
Key responsibilities
Build strong professional working relationships with key stakeholders, delivering subject matter expertise on HSE
Work with and support the HSE Operations Manager with the roll out, implementation and monitoring of HSE programs
Provide competent expert coaching, advice, and guidance, collaborating with Line Managers to drive continuous improvement
Conduct coaching safety visits on site to promote visible safety leadership providing guidance to field-based colleagues, line managers and Advisory team, leading by example and recommending good practice and areas for improvement
Lead and implement initiatives as guided by the HSE Operations Manager supporting the team to establish a strong safety mindset
Guide and coach line managers on the risk assessment process, providing technical expertise in hazard identification, risk assessment and the design of suitable and sufficient controls
We are looking for someone who has
Experience in HSE roles
NEBOSH National General Certificate
Ability to work well within a team and when required lead a team.
Analytical and critical evaluation skills
Willingness to travel frequently within identified areas to support directorate
Excellent Communication Skills
