Crynodeb
IT Desk Ltd is a managed service provider delivering IT support, cloud services and cybersecurity solutions to UK businesses.
You will provide first line support within a busy Managed Service Provider (MSP) – you will be providing technical support to businesses throughout the UK.
As a Junior Technical Engineer apprentice, you will be the first point of contact for IT support tickets. You will resolve common technical issues, escalate where necessary, assist with onsite work, and support workshop and dispatch tasks. You will complete external apprenticeship training alongside hands-on experience.
Apprenticeships are the gateway to opportunities within IT Desk, whether working as a field engineer, helpdesk engineer or a technical solutions engineer – there is scope to further your career within IT Desk.
Delivery to be completed on site and off the job training either at Barnsley College or your place of work. Student to complete Level 3 Information Communication Technician.
Qualifications Required
GCSE Maths and English (Grade 4/C or above) or equivalent.
Desired Skills
Basic IT knowledge, troubleshooting mindset, willingness to learn and a curious mindset.
Desired Personal Qualities
Basic IT knowledge, curious mindset, willingness to learn and a natural problem solver.
Driving Licence not essential with 1 year driving experience, but preferential.
Level 2 qualification in a similar subject required.
Working week
40 hours per week
8am until 4pm or 9am until 5pm Monday to Friday
