Hydraulic Fitter
Our established client, a local engineering company, are currently seeking a Hydraulic Fitter to join their team. The individual will be responsible for installation, maintenance and repairs related to hydraulic equipment and components.
The role:
• Building and testing hydraulic rams (2T to 10T)
• Building and testing of power packs
• Servicing hydraulic pumps, rams, power packs and jacking beams
• End of line testing, diagnosing, checking and setting mechanical systems
• Use of hand tools
• Ensure all hydraulic systems and equipment comply with safety regulations and standards
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs and inspections
The candidate:
• Have hydraulic system knowledge
• Experience as a Hydraulic Fitter is advantageous
• Ability to weld is beneficial but not essential
• Be adaptable and able to work in other areas
• Good general knowledge of engineering processes
• Due to location access to transport is preferred
