The nursery day moves quickly between room-based learning and outdoor play, with children flowing through well-organised spaces. As Deputy Nursery Manager, you’ll work alongside the Nursery Manager to oversee daily operations, maintain standards, and provide consistent leadership across the setting while remaining visible on the floor.
Before You Apply

What You’ll Need
- Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification

What You’ll Do
- Support the Nursery Manager with the day-to-day running of the nursery
- Oversee room practice to ensure EYFS and safeguarding standards are met
- Lead staff briefings and contribute to supervision and performance reviews
- Step into full operational responsibility in the Manager’s absence
- Monitor planning, observations, and assessment quality across rooms
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and Ofsted requirements
