Do you want to join a brand new team?
Maritime Academy are expanding and are establishing a dedicated team of Exam Invigilators to support our students during examination periods. Our Exam Invigilators play a vital role in ensuring examinations are conducted fairly, efficiently, and in accordance with regulations.
Successful candidates will assist with:
• Setting up examination venues
• Checking and organising examination packs
• Assisting candidates before and during exams
• Actively invigilating during examinations
• Checking attendance and recording relevant information accurately
Exam Invigilators help maintain the integrity of the examination process while creating a calm and supportive environment in which students can perform at their best. Good written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with attention to detail and reliability.
This is a casual position, with hours varying between 8:00am and 5:30pm during busy exam periods. Exam sessions can last up to three hours, and invigilation duties may extend to approximately four hours in some cases.
All successful applicants will be required to attend a training session, where full training for the role will be provided.
This role would particularly suit someone who is reliable and looking for flexible, term-time work.
