​Equans is looking for a Water Manager to join our team based at Midland Metropolitan University Hospital (MMUH) in Smethwick on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. There is also an on-call rota. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package. This role is to support the Technical Services Manager (Mechanical) and the Head of Estates by leading in the provision and deliver of a high-quality maintenance service for the domestic water services to the sites What will you deliver?Undertake the role of Responsible Person (Water) for all sitesLead in engineering activities and undertake duties for which their trained and competent to do Manage a team that includes Engineers and AdministratorsDirectly accountable for day-to-day matters to the Technical Services Manager (Mechanical)Deputise for the Technical Services Manager during absence from site as directed by Senior Management TeamEnsure all Water Risk Assessment for all sites are regularly reviewed and amended as required to ensure risk are effectively managedEnsure the written scheme for water is in place and regularly reviewed and updated in lie with the Water Risk Assessment, site requirements, Trust policies and contractual requirementsBe the system owner for the COMPASS System which forms the site log book for water ensuring it is regularly reviewed and updated to reflect the current site and system condition and provides an accurate record of all actions and status of the various domestic water systemsPlan and schedule all planned preventative maintenance activities in conjunction with the Planning Coordinator for buildings, plant and equipment using the Maximo system, with consideration to statute, Regulations, ACOP’s and Guidance (HTM’s)Required to participating in the ‘on call’ rota as and when required, after suitable training and relevant experience is gained as directed by Senior Management.
