KS1 Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary and ongoing role starting as soon as possible

Duties as KS1 Teacher:
- Teach a KS1 class full time with high‑quality lesson delivery
- Support a Year 1 pupil with ADHD and ASD on a 1:1 basis
- Work alongside classroom staff to meet SEND and developmental needs
- Deliver planned learning activities and adapt approaches where required
- Promote positive behaviour and maintain consistent classroom routines
- Support pupils in developing literacy, numeracy, and social skills
- Implement personalised strategies to support attention, focus, and emotional regulation
- Collaborate with staff across the school and contribute to wider KS1 planning
- Uphold safeguarding expectations and prioritise pupil welfare
Ideal KS1 Teacher:
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is beneficial
- Strong 1:1 experience with KS1 pupils is essential
- Confident supporting SEND, especially ADHD and ASD
- Calm, patient, and adaptable when responding to individual needs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Able to follow guidance while also using initiative
- Proactive, reliable, and committed to supporting pupil development
- Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting pupil well‑being
