Primary ECT
Primary School located in Brent
Permanent from September (Option to be paid from July)
Salary: M1 – Starting at £40,317
Are you ready to begin your teaching career in a thriving, high-performing primary school where your development truly matters?
Do you want to join a supportive, forward-thinking team that invests heavily in Early Career Teachers?
Are you looking for a permanent September post with the opportunity to be paid from July to fully immerse yourself in school life before the new academic year begins?
A top-performing, two-form entry primary school in Brent is seeking an exceptional Primary ECT to join their team this September. Graded ‘Good’ with Outstanding features by Ofsted, the school is recognised locally for strong pupil progress, inclusive practice and a rich, ambitious curriculum that develops the whole child. Pupils are polite, motivated and eager to learn, with behaviour across all year groups consistently praised by visitors and external partners.
This vibrant and diverse school community is built on high expectations, strong pastoral care and a genuine commitment to nurturing both pupils and staff. Senior leaders are experienced, visible and deeply invested in professional development. The school benefits from modern, well-resourced classrooms, specialist teaching spaces and a collaborative staff culture where ideas are shared, innovation is welcomed and success is celebrated.
Early Career Teachers are exceptionally well supported. Over the past five years, all ECTs have successfully completed their induction, with many progressing into subject leadership and phase responsibility roles. Each ECT benefits from:
• A dedicated and experienced mentor
• Weekly protected mentoring time
• A reduced timetable in line with ECF guidance
• Bespoke CPD tailored to strengths and development areas
• Opportunities to observe outstanding teaching practice
The successful candidate will be proactive, reflective and passionate about delivering high-quality lessons that inspire curiosity and a lifelong love of learning. In return, you will join a nurturing environment where your confidence, classroom practice and leadership potential will flourish.
This is a permanent position starting in September, with the exciting opportunity to be paid from July to support transition, planning and induction.
If you are a talented trainee teacher ready to launch your career in an exceptional Brent primary school, we would love to hear from you.
