Warehouse Operative – PM Shift
High Wycombe
£31,000 per annum
Monday – Friday | 3:00pm – 12:00 midnight (40 hours)
Vanta are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a well-established national distributor based in High Wycombe.
This is a permanent opportunity working within a professional warehouse team supplying specialist materials used in construction and infrastructure projects across the UK.
This role is not a fast-paced pick environment. The focus is on care, accuracy and safe handling of products, as many items are larger and heavier.
The Warehouse Operative role will involve:
Picking and packing orders with a strong focus on accuracy and care
Handling large and heavy products safely
Loading and unloading vehicles
Checking orders before dispatch
General warehouse duties including maintaining a clean warehouse
Using internal computer systems
The ideal Warehouse Operative will have:
Previous warehouse experience
Counterbalance FLT licence
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Basic computer skills
Physically fit and comfortable handling heavier products
Ability to work on their own initiative
Important information:
Salary £31,000 per annum
Monday to Friday 3pm – midnight
Some shifts may finish slightly earlier or later depending on workload
Own transport is required due to location
Alcohol and drug testing is conducted periodically
This role involves manual handling of heavier products
