Hours: 39 hours over 4 days | 1 in 4 weekends | No OOH
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head Veterinary Surgeon to lead a thriving, well-respected independent small animal practice in Lincoln. This is the perfect role for a passionate and clinically accomplished Head Vet who is ready to drive clinical excellence, inspire a talented team, and shape the future direction of a modern, forward-thinking veterinary surgery.
The Role – Head Vet
The successful candidate will join the senior management team as Head Vet, playing a pivotal role in shaping clinical standards, mentoring colleagues, and delivering a strategic vision focused on gold-standard, evidence-based veterinary care.
This opportunity would suit an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon who:

This is a 4-day working week (39 hours) with a 1:4 weekend rota. There are no out-of-hours requirements, though the Head Vet will provide on-call support for any overnight inpatients when required.
