Contract: 08:30-15:30 | Monday-Friday | Term time only
Salary: £80 - £93 a day

We are seeking a dedicated, patient, and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to join a caring and supportive SEN primary school. The school supports pupils aged 4-11 years old with a range of needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.
About the Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual EHCP targets
Support pupils with communication, emotional regulation, and behaviour strategies
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver personalised learning
Assist with sensory activities and structured interventions
Promote independence, confidence, and life skills
Support pupils during transitions and unstructured times
Contribute to a safe, nurturing, and structured environment
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
Has experience working with children with SEN (preferred but not essential)
Is calm, patient, and emotionally resilient
Understands the importance of consistent boundaries and positive behaviour support
Has strong teamwork and communication skills
Is committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
